The Minneapolis Fire Department has launched the first all-Indigenous fire crew in the city's history. The crew, part of a six-month pilot program, aims to improve relations with the Indigenous community and recruit more diverse talent into the fire service. The initiative is a collaboration with the American Indian Cultural Corridor and is based out of a firehouse in a neighborhood with a significant Indigenous population.
